Finally after thirteen long years I am able to get rid of the DivantArt name “nimra” it was Armin backwards thought it was a good idea at the time (not thinking of obvious “nimrod”) so now its arminmersmann sounds so damn good to me!      now to do something with my other DA site   Gerald-Bostock  the one i use for photography,   that's the next thing ill change

"nimra" is also "number" in Egyptian slang. Way to move forward. I tried to change my username today and found out I need to be core member. Maybe I should start a whole new gallery since I've basically just got back to this drawing gig after 4 years.

It's going to be strange getting used to the change. The alias "Nimra" was how I spoke of you. Nimrod only became a insult when Buggs Bunny would refer to Elmer Fudd as a Nimrod because they were both hunters. Funny how things change eh?

Had the same feeling 2 years ago. I changed the "Atelier Arends" to my real name. It felt like hiding behind the "Atelier..." thing.... Haven´t changed it here.... need that fucking premium member thing....  :(

We like you, no matter how you want to be called. More apotaint... you feel good!

Nimrod, king of Shinar, was, according to the Book of Genesis and Books of Chronicles, the son of Cush, the great-grandson of Noah. The Bible states that he was "a mighty hunter before the Lord [and] .... began to be mighty in the earth".

I suppose name recognition is important in the field of Art!  Your work speaks for itself!  Cheers!
